Lincoln Riley reportedly unlikely to leave Oklahoma for NFL

Despite a lot of talk over the course of the season, the Lincoln Riley door to the NFL looks to be shut for this offseason.
According to Alex Marvez of SiriusXM, Riley is expected to sign a contract extension with Oklahoma, essentially ruling out any chance of him leaving for an NFL job this offseason.
Don't expect Lincoln Riley in the NFL anytime soon. I'm told he's expected to sign a contract extension with @OU_Football sooner than later, which will make my guy @JRsBBQ very happy #BoomerSooner

Riley was primarily linked to one team in particular, but that chatter faded pretty quickly when it became clear that the Oklahoma coach just wasn’t interested in making the jump right now. He’ll be back with the Sooners next season aiming to improve on this year’s successes.
