LSU fan paints tiger stripes on Great Dane

It doesn’t get much bigger in the south than college football and Saturday’s game between Alabama and LSU is a meeting of two traditional SEC powers.

Fans of both schools are ready and have been counting down to kickoff all week. Among those in the spirit is the owner of Elmer, the above pictured Great Dane, who now looks more like LSU’s mascot than a dog.

LSU famously has had a tiger present for home football games that would sit outside the opponent’s locker room to intimidate visitors to Death Valley. However, Mike the Tiger has been absent the entire season to this point. He may not rank has high on the intimidation scale, but Elmer the Great Dane could be an option as a stand-in.
