Joe Burrow

LSU Tigers quarterback Joe Burrow gets himself fired up before games in much the same way you would expect from any top quarterback.

The former Ohio State quarterback said after LSU’s win over Georgia Southern on Saturday that he pumps himself up by smashing his head against a wall. LSU head coach Ed Orgeron confirmed that was the case.

This is the kind of toughness you want out of the leader of your program. You want someone who’s willing to lay it all out on the line when on the field. Burrow is that type of dude.

After throwing for just 16 touchdowns last season, Burrow threw for five in the team’s season opener. Next up is a huge game at Texas on Saturday. Some trash talk from a Tigers linebacker has added a layer of intrigue to the game.
