The family of UCF quarterback McKenzie Milton offered a brief update about the player’s leg injury on Saturday afternoon.
Milton suffered an awful leg injury during Friday’s game against South Florida and underwent immediate surgery. According to his family, that surgery was successful, and he’s aiming to be present in Orlando next week when the Knights play for the AAC championship.

In general, the news on Milton sounds positive. That’s great, especially with how frightening some of the details surrounding it were. He obviously won’t play again this season, and his long-term prognosis remains unknown until we get a more comprehensive update. That said, it sounds like he’s doing about as well as can be expected.
