It’s been about a year and a half since standout quarterback McKenzie Milton suffered a devastating knee injury, and now the UCF quarterback is back on the practice field.
UCF’s Twitter account posted a video of Milton throwing passes at UCF’s spring practice. Milton is still wearing a knee brace as he practices, but was able to throw fairly naturally to a receiver.

Milton’s gruesome knee injury took place in November 2018. Things were so severe that there was, at one point, a real chance that he’d lose his leg. Seeing him on a practice field in light of that is simply amazing. There’s obviously no guarantee that he’ll play competitively ever again, but the progress he’s made is remarkable and the fact that we’re even discussing it is a tribute to the work he’s put in.
