The Michigan State Spartans lost their best offensive player to a very serious injury in Saturday’s game against the Michigan Wolverines.
Wide receiver Felton Davis appeared to slip while preparing to run a route during the second quarter of Saturday’s game, and had to be carted off. Just after halftime, FOX Sports reported that Davis tore his Achilles and would obviously not return.
Felton Davis torn achilles per FOX broadcast. Brutal injury.

The senior is almost certainly out for the season. He was Michigan State’s top offensive weapon, having caught nine touchdown passes in 2017 and four more this year, including the game-winner at Penn State just last week. He looked like an NFL prospect, though that could be jeopardized by this injury.
