Notre Dame has players’ names and numbers on lobby floor of team hotel
Notre Dame is making its first ever appearance in the College Football Playoff this year following an undefeated regular season, and the school is going to great lengths to make sure the experience is memorable for its players.
On Sunday, Notre Dame equipment manager Chris Bacsik shared some footage of the team hotel where the Irish will be staying during their trip to Dallas for the Cotton Bowl. The video shows the floor of the hotel lobby, which features every player on the roster’s name and number in individual tiles.

As Jordan James of 247 Sports notes, this is also the first time a program sponsored by Under Armour has been in the College Football Playoff. The swag players are receiving from their sponsor is already pretty impressive.

Brian Kelly thinks Notre Dame making the playoff could help start some major trends within college football, and it will be interesting to see if the floor tile roster move is one of them.
