The Louisville football program is investing in head coach Jeff Brohm in a big way.
After back-to-back seasons with bowl game victories and 28 wins in his first three seasons, Brohm has a new contract extension that will keep him around through 2033.

Brohm’s head coaching career began at Western Kentucky in 2014, and he went 30-10 with three bowl wins in three seasons.
Brohm then spent six seasons at Purdue, going 36-34 in an up-and-down stretch, albeit in a difficult Big Ten Conference.
Brohm even drew interest for the Tennessee Volunteers job in 2017, and reports even stated at the time that Tennessee was closing in on a deal. However, nothing materialized, and Jeremy Pruitt ended up as the hire by the Volunteers.
This past cycle, Brohm’s name emerged as a potential candidate for the Michigan Wolverines job, although ex-Utah coach Kyle Whittingham ended up being the hire.
Nonetheless, Brohm is staying put at Louisville for the foreseeable future after a new contract.
