Ohio State WR Jeremiah Smith goes viral for his ridiculous catches
Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith electrified college football fans Saturday with a couple of incredible catches against Michigan State.
The Buckeyes led the Spartans 17-7 late in the first half at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Mich. The final minute of the half belonged to Smith.
With Ohio State facing 1st-and-10 at Michigan State’s 44-yard line, Smith hauled in a contested catch over two Spartan defenders for 27 yards.
Fans didn’t even have enough time to fully appreciate the grab before Smith one-upped himself. Just three plays later, Smith made a one-handed snag on third down to score a touchdown.

In the first half alone, Smith had already tallied 5 catches for 83 yards and a touchdown. The Ohio State freshman also had a 19-yard rushing touchdown on top of all that.
The 18-year-old entered Saturday’s game with at least one touchdown in each of his first three games. He didn’t waste any time extending that streak against Michigan State.
There’s a reason head coach Ryan Day was euphoric last year when he found out had Smith committed to Ohio State.
