When it comes to the Iron Bowl, every single play counts. And you know the fans are keeping track of every single call that does not go their way, and that includes key catches.
Auburn got the benefit of a call during the third quarter Saturday against Alabama when Quan Bray was credited with a 35-yard catch down the sidelines to put Auburn at the 21.
Bray and Bradley Sylve went up for the ball and seemed to be fighting for possession, but Bray was credited with a catch on the field. The refs reviewed the play and determined there was simultaneous possession, giving the tie-breaker to the receiver — Bray.

Auburn went on to kick a field goal to go up 36-27, so that play was key. Mike Pereira says it should have been an interception, which I’m sure will upset Bama fans even more.
Going to send out a video and a story about the simultaneous catch but it should have been an Alabama interception by rule.
