Scott Frost has time for his program’s VIPs even on game day.
Frost gave a hug to Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade on the field in Lincoln prior to his debut as Nebraska’s head coach:

Union is from Nebraska and grew up as a huge fan of the Cornhuskers football program. She and Wade often watch them play.
The team’s opener against Akron was delayed due to heavy rain at Memorial Stadium, but fans stuck around, eagerly awaiting the start of the new era.
