Texas QB Sam Ehlinger shares positive Instagram message after injury news

Texas Longhorns quarterback Sam Ehlinger shared a positive post on Instagram note on Sunday around the time news about his shoulder injury was reported.
Orangebloods’ Anwar Richardson reports that Ehlinger has a Grade 1 shoulder sprain. Richardson says Ehlinger will rest and rehab and could be throwing by the end of the week. The hope is that Ehlinger will be able to play in Texas’ next game, which is on Oct. 27 against Oklahoma State.
Texas QB Sam Ehlinger has a Grade 1 shoulder sprain and minimal damage, according to my sources. Ehlinger will rest and rehab this week. Goal is to have him throwing by the end of the week. If all goes well, he will play against Oklahoma State on October 27. Texas is on a bye.

Ehlinger posted a photo of himself on Instagram, with the caption, “God always has a plan, and that plan is about to be a lot of fun.”
Ehlinger hurt his shoulder on Texas’ opening possession against Baylor on Saturday. Shane Buechele came in for him and helped lead the team to victory. Buechele would start against Oklahoma State if Ehlinger were not available.
