Tom Herman continues to get dragged into the Ohio State mess but is trying his best to deflect the attention.
Herman was confirmed this week to have attended a strip club along with former Ohio State coach Zach Smith in 2014. Smith spent $600 during the visit, which could trigger concern with the NCAA if he paid for any Florida high school coaches during the visit.
On Thursday, Herman was asked about the matter and said his wife knew about the trip and that he would be willing to cooperate with the NCAA if necessary.

Herman, who is entering his second season as the head coach at Texas, was Ohio State’s offensive coordinator in 2014. He left after that season to become Houston’s head coach.
Herman has been accused by an Ohio State writer of tipping off the reporter, which led to Smith’s firing last month.
