Twitter jokes about Kyler Murray’s NFL ambitions as Alabama rolls
It took only two drives of Saturday night’s College Football Playoff semifinal for fans to decide that Kyler Murray might reconsider his interest in the NFL.
Murray and the Oklahoma Sooners were getting walloped by the Alabama defense through two drives, with zero net yards and three negative plays, including a pair of sacks. The total dominance of the Crimson Tide defensive line left Murray with little time to throw or escape.
Seeing as how many believe the Crimson Tide have an NFL-caliber defensive line, many joked that the beating might make Murray think twice about wanting to play in the NFL.

Kyler Murray will make an official announcement after the game that he’s moving on to play baseball. Postgame quote from Murray: “If these Bama players get to go to the NFL, I have no interest in playing against them ever again. I’m not stupid. I value my health.” #OrangeBowl

All this Kyler Murray hype.. plays a D that has a few NFL players and so far seen him run a couple times, dragged down with one hand, crushed in the pocket when he doesnt feel the rush, and hit his RB in the feet on a swing pass… meh.. change my mind, young man

It has been reported that the NFL has grown much more interested in Murray in recent weeks. One has to wonder if being overwhelmed in the Orange Bowl will change that.
