UCF beat East Carolina on Thursday night 32-30 on a Hail Mary that is certain to be one of the wildest finishes of the college football season.
East Carolina was up 30-26 and was facing a 4th-and-19 with 16 seconds left. Instead of a punt or run, Shane Carden took a sack.
That gave the Knights the ball and one last chance to win the game. And they did as Breshad Perriman hauled in a 51-yard pass from Justin Holman to win the game.
Will anyone feel worse than East Carolina DB DaShaun Amos? Amos was caught unbuckling his chinstrap because he likely figured the game was over:
