One of the top tight end prospects in college football is looking to transfer after leaving the UCLA program following one game with the Bruins. Unfortunately he will not have his choice of schools to attend.
According to Rivals, Chris Clark, the No. 1-rated tight end in the 2015 recruiting class, has been blocked by UCLA from transferring to Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State.
Clark has returned to his home in Connecticut where he is contemplating his next move. He is said to be planning visits to ACC schools Pitt, N.C. State and Virginia.
Clark seems to have a hard time sticking to his decisions. He initially committed to Michigan but backed out after Brady Hoke was fired. Now he has left UCLA after one game.
It’s understandable why the NCAA does not want athletes leaving schools so easily and freely, but it’s still hypocritical when you realize that coaches can leave for any school without penalty, but athletes are restricted in where they can go. What sense does that make?
