UCLA OC Noel Mazzone in hospital with blood clot in lung
UCLA offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone has been hospitalized this week due to a blood clot in his lungs.
Bruin Report Online reported the news about the team’s offensive coordinator, saying he has been in the hospital since Monday. The report was confirmed by the school, which said in a statement that Mazzone is “resting comfortably.”

Mazzone was not present for a team banquet on Monday night, per Bruins Nation, with head coach Jim Mora not revealing the reason.
Mazzone has been the school’s offensive coordinator since 2012. The Bruins will play Nebraska in the Foster Farms Bowl on Dec. 26.
