Video: LSU band plays ‘Neck’ on Bourbon Street and fans loved it

LSU Tigers

LSU has an incredible and passionate fan base, and that was on display in New Orleans ahead of the National Championship Game between them and Clemson.

On Sunday, a call reportedly went out on Facebook for former members of the Tigers marching band and dance team to join up on Bourbon Street and play “Neck.” They did so. The song is actually Cameo’s “Talkin’ Out The Side Of Your Neck” from 1984 and Dem Franchize Boyz’ rendition as well. LSU fans replace a phrase in the song to say “suck that Tiger d—.”

You can hear it below — some find it inappropriate, offensive and disrespectful — but many LSU fans love it.

LSU’s band stopped playing the song after the fans used the sexual chant in 2010.

Some fans still said it at the Superdome before Monday night’s game.
