Nick Saban said the decision he made earlier this month to retire was an extremely difficult one, and we can only hope he will use his some of his new free time to give boogie boarding another try.
Saban’s daughter, Kristen Saban Setas, posted an awesome video on X Friday that showed her dad attempting to ride a wave on a boogie board. She shared the clip in response to some fans speculating about what the former Alabama coach is up to now that he no longer has to recruit.

Some fans mistakenly thought the footage was taken this week, but Kristen said it was from 2018. If anything, it proves that Saban did still find time to enjoy himself while winning seven national championships.
Now that Saban has called it a career, he will have all the time in the world to get back on the board. We speak for everyone when we say we hope the 72-year-old gives it another shot.
