Wisconsin punter Sean West may have just put himself on the NFL’s radar with one of the greatest punts you’ll ever see against Notre Dame.
The Badgers had 4th-and-6 at their own 29-yard line when West lined up for a punt to begin the second quarter at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis. The junior punter uncorked a long punt that landed right around the 6-yard line.
Instead of rolling into the end zone for a touchback, West’s punt had enough topspin on it to curl all the way to the sideline. It bounced all the way to the front of the pylon, going out of bounds right at the 1-yard line. It was the most picture-perfect punt Wisconsin fans could have asked for.

West’s celebration was the cherry on top. He squared his shoulders as if he were trying to hit the green at Augusta National.
Not even Tiger Woods could have done a better job of going for 70 yards, even with his best wedge in hand. West basically hit a hole-in-one with a punt.
The all-time punt paid dividends for Wisconsin, as Notre Dame went three-and-out on its ensuing drive. Given how far deep they were pinned, the Fighting Irish were not even able to get past the 5-yard line.
