As if all the scoring in the first five minutes of the National Championship Game on Monday weren’t enough entertainment, one fan added to the excitement.
A woman had to be carried off the field at Levi’s Stadium after running onto the field of play following an extra point by Clemson:

According to one tweet, the woman was a protester for an animal group, responding to the Perdue Chicken sold at Levi’s Stadium.

We’ve seen plenty of protesters send messages at sporting events. Because of all the fans and media at high-profile games, that’s a good time to try and spread a message.
