It’s been over a month since Jay Cutler left the NFC Championship Game because of a knee injury, and he still can’t seem to shake the accompanying criticism. First he heard it from his peers, and then the fans turned on him by burning his jersey. But the issue of Jay Cutler is still pressing in Chicago, apparently. According to the Chicago Tribune:
A Kane County sheriff’s deputy reported that she spotted [a man running naked] about 5:30 p.m. Feb. 19 at Sorrento’s restaurant on Illinois Route 64 in Maple Park.
The man was yelling obscenities and threats, according to the report, but he also interspersed his shouts with other topics.
“Do you think Jay Cutler gave up?” he reportedly shouted
Nothing quite like leading a sports talk conversation while running naked through a restaurant parking lot. What’s next, streakers at games pausing to ask the referees what they think of Obama’s policy on Egypt? Or how about leading think tanks on what the Federal Reserve can do to ease the debt in the country? Clearly one gets his best thinking done while running around naked. Next time I’m having writer’s block maybe I’ll go parading around the neighborhood in my underwear for answers.
