Lolo Jones has built a reputation as one of the more entertainer athletes to follow on Twitter. Case in point: when one of her followers thanked her for not blocking him on Twitter, she cracked a joke about the crimson tide — and we’re not talking Alabama football.
Only when its that time of month RT @Billy_el_flaco: @lolojones thanks for not pressing "block"

The follower made the remark to Lolo in the context of ESPN’s 30 for 30 Title IX documentary “Branded.” In a clip promoting the documentary, Jones says she was entering the London Olympics as the top hurdler in the world but without any sponsors. In order to gain sponsors, she realized she would have to boost her social media following, so she made that one of her priorities. You can see her talk about it in the clip below:
Jones was thanking everyone who has followed her on Twitter, which prompted the person to say thanks for not blocking her.
Lolo is great on social media mostly because she is funny. She is always cracking jokes and sharing photos and videos. And whether it’s intentional or not, she seems to get caught up in controversies that boost her profile. But the real reason she went from unknown to one of the most recognizable American athletes at the Olympics was because of her interview with HBO’s “Real Sports.” In the interview, Jones revealed that she is still a virgin. When you have an attractive, fit female athlete talking about her sexual activity, you’re going to receive a ton of attention.
