Roni Rose: I have no association with Mad Girls Fitness
Social media model Roni Rose responded to stories that have linked her to an alleged prostitution ring and told Larry Brown Sports that she has no association with Mad Girls Fitness.
Last week a man was arrested for running a company called Mad Girls Fitness, which police say doubled as a prostitution ring. The man behind the company allegedly recruited women for modeling and supposed fitness opportunities, but then told the women they had to have sex before getting a chance at modeling.
Rose, who achieved internet fame after going viral during the NBA Finals, was caught up in the scandal after some websites noticed her photo on the Mad Girls Fitness site.
Some sites also said Rose promoted Mad Girls Fitness on her social media channels.
LBS contacted Rose about her ties to Mad Girls Fitness. She confirmed to Larry Brown Sports over email that that is her on the Mad Girls Fitness site, but she says so was not aware they were promoting her on the site.
“No I was not aware of the posting,” Rose told Larry Brown Sports. “As far as consent goes I was paid to do a Photoshoot by a photographer and with payment photographer can do as he or she pleases with the pictures after the agreement and payment is made. But no approval of mine was made.”
Rose firmly said she has “no association with mad girls fitness.”
Rose previously addressed the prostitution stories with a post on Instagram Friday.
