The San Francisco 49ers may not be done clearing out some veterans.
According to NFL reporter Benjamin Allbright, the 49ers have both made and received calls about trading running back Carlos Hyde.
In addition to releasing Navarro Bowman, Niners have received and made calls about RB Carlos Hyde.

The fourth-year back rushed for 988 yards last season and has been maintaining a similar yards per carry in 2017. Still only 27, he’d be a nice pickup for a contender seeking some help in the backfield.
Hyde, like recently-released NaVorro Bowman, spoke publicly about his reduced playing time recently. Perhaps it’s coincidence, or perhaps the comments played a role in the Niners’ decision to try to actively move the two of them.
