There is still no official announcement about whether Aaron Donald plans to come out of retirement and rejoin the Los Angeles Rams, but their players are certainly leaning into the speculation.
On Sunday, newly-acquired edge rusher Myles Garrett posted a picture of a signed Donald jersey hanging by his locker, along with the caption “unpacking.”

On Monday, Rams wide receiver Davante Adams joined in the fun. He shared a past photo of himself and Donald on Instagram and captioned it “my brudda.” Donald promptly reposted it to his own Instagram.

Whether Donald is coming back or not, the Rams are clearly having fun leaning into it. The former defensive tackle was also spotted working out at the team’s facility late last week, though later reports suggested that was not necessarily unusual and that Donald has yet to make a final decision on whether to play again.
Donald himself has done nothing to quiet the speculation about whether he might play again. The 35-year-old retired after the 2023 season, though he has kept himself in something close to playing shape since then.
