Aaron Rodgers talks about time he once saw a UFO

Aaron Rodgers

Leave it to Aaron Rodgers to have a detailed UFO story.

In a recent appearance on comedian Pete Holmes’ “You Made it Weird” podcast, Rodgers spoke about the time he and former Cal teammate Steve Levy once spotted a strange object flying overheard. The Packers quarterback is convinced it was a UFO.

“It was a large orange, left-to-right-moving object. Because of the overcast nature of the night and the snow, you couldn’t make out—it was kind of behind the clouds we were seeing, but it was definitively large, moving from left to right,” Rodgers explained, as transcribed by Tyler Maas of The Milwaukee Record. “It was me, Steve [Levy], and his brother that saw it. And it goes out of sight and we look at each other and go ‘What in the f— was that?’”

It gets even spookier! Rodgers went on to explain that he heard what sounded like fighter jets patrolling the skies and a siren from a nearby nuclear power plant shortly after spotting the UFO. Aliens? Had to be.

Rogers sounded serious, though you can never tell with him. He has an incredibly dry sense of humor, and you can see an example of that in this tweet he sent after the season.

If Rodgers thinks he saw a UFO, who are we to tell him he didn’t?
