Aaron Rodgers thanks God for help with Hail Mary passes
The odds of completing a Hail Mary pass — let alone a meaningful one — in the NFL are incredibly slim. Unless, of course, your name is Aaron Rodgers. After successfully completing a Hail Mary to beat the Lions in the regular season, Rodgers and the Packers nearly did the same to the Cardinals in the playoffs.
And for that, Rodgers wants to thank God.
On Tuesday, Rodgers sent his first tweet in over a month. He dedicated it to God.
Have to start my return by thanking @TheTweetOfGod for an exciting season. Tell your sons mother I said thank you for those two throws.

For most NFL players, that would hardly be noteworthy. But if you remember, Rodgers seemingly took a shot at Russell Wilson with a religious reference during the season. There was probably some sarcasm behind that tweet as well.
