Adrian Peterson was one of the most talented athletes in the NFL during his remarkable career, and the former running back’s daughter clearly inherited that gene.
Peterson’s daughter, Ari Peterson, is an eighth-grade student at Providence Academy in Plymouth, Minn. She is also a basketball star who received her first Division I scholarship offer this week.

Ari confirmed via Instagram Wednesday that she has received a scholarship offer from the University of Minnesota.
“After a nice talk with Coach Plitzuweit, I am so blessed and excited to receive my first offer from the University of Minnesota! Go Gophers!” she wrote.
Peterson, a member of the Class of 2028, noted that she has not committed to Minnesota. She already has impressive game, especially considering her age.
Peterson is averaging 11.8 points per game this season at Providence Academy. There will likely be plenty more scholarship offers coming her way in the future.
