Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth dress up in Roaring 20s costumes for opener
Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth opened up the 2019 NFL season in costume.
The first game of the season began at Soldier Field in Chicago between the Bears and Green Bay Packers. NBC broadcasters Michaels and Collinsworth dressed in Roaring ’20s costumes because the game was in Chicago, one of the centers of the cultural change embodied by the decade.

Some fans may be disappointing at the lack of a Collinsworth Slide to introduce the program. We’re just here for the costumes and hope the tradition continues each week.
