Allen Hurns reportedly released by Jaguars
Allen Robinson signed a free agent contract with the Chicago Bears last week, and he is not the only wide receiver the Jacksonville Jaguars are moving on from this offseason. In fact, he’s not even the only receiver named Allen who is leaving the team.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jags have decided to release Allen Hurns.
Jaguars are releasing WR Allen Hurns, per source. Strong market expected for him.

Hurns has been fairly productive in Jacksonville for the past four seasons, and he caught 39 passes for 484 yards in 2017 despite appearing in just 10 games. His best season came in 2015, when Hurns racked up over 1,000 receiving yards and scored 10 touchdowns.
The Jaguars will save $7 million against the salary cap by cutting Hurns, but don’t expect the 26-year-old to be a free agent for long.
