Alvin Kamara responds to trade demand rumors
New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara on Saturday took to social media to respond to rumors that he was asking for a trade.
Kamara shed light on a fake report suggesting he had asked the Saints to trade him. On X, he wrote that he was simply in an “orange robe on the way to Knoxville” for Saturday’s Tennessee game, and that no request had been made.
I ain request a trade.. so that’s a lie. I’m in an orange robe on the way to Knoxville.. #WhoDat

In another post, Kamara suggested if he did have any news, he would either “report that s–t from my couch” or have former teammate Michael Thomas break the news for him.
Rumors about Kamara potentially wanting out might not be right now, but they are not necessarily far-fetched. He and the Saints had something of a contract dispute during training camp, and he did not seem entirely thrilled with the team when he showed up to camp despite the issue. An ugly loss to Denver on Thursday, after which Kamara acknowledged fan anger over the performance, has only made things worse.
Kamara remains an effective player and has 690 yards from scrimmage through seven games. He would be a logical candidate to be moved if the Saints did decide to give up on the season, but nobody involved appears to have reached that point yet.
