Andrew Luck is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and part of a wave of emerging players in the league. He is only 25, went to Stanford, and he is smart, strong and talented. He looks like he would be one of the most eligible bachelors in the league, but Luck is actually taken — he has had a girlfriend, Nicole Pechanec, since college.
Luck and Pechanec met at Stanford where they were both architecture majors. Luck’s fascination with architecture has long been established — he loves the field and considers it a passion. Had he not played professional football, he would have been an architect.
As of two years ago, Luck said that he had bought a condo in Indianapolis and that Pechanec was living with him. Luck also credited Pechanec for keeping him together.
“I do have a girlfriend, and she is living with me. She keeps me straight,” Luck told WTHR.
Luck says the two like to go out and get out of the house. They go out to eat and check out the different restaurants in downtown Indy. The two have also traveled together. He said in June that they happened to be in Europe during the Winter Olympics in February, and you’ll be happy to know they were representing America quite well.
As for Pechanec, not only was she also an architect major, but she was also an athlete at Stanford. Pechanec was a gymnast and team captain and MVP as a senior. Her parents are Czech and competed on the country’s national team — gymnastics for her mom, and sailing for her dad. Pechanec currently works for USA Gymnastics as a program coordinator.
