The Indianapolis Colts have been in good hands with Andrew Luck out, but the team should get their starting quarterback back before long.
CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora reports that Luck may return to action in Week 15, though he says Week 16 is more probable for the three-time Pro Bowler. NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport has similar information:
#Colts owner Jim Irsay told me he believes QB Andrew Luck will be back for Week 15 vs. the #Texans. Week 16 vs. #Dolphins at the latest

Luck has been out since suffering a lacerated kidney in Week 9 against the Denver Broncos on this hit.
Veteran Matt Hasselbeck has gone 4-0 as the Colts’ starter in place of Luck, but head coach Chuck Pagano has said Luck will resume his role as the starter when he is healthy. The Colts are 6-5 and first place in the AFC South.
Though Hasselbeck has led the team to excellent results in Luck’s absence, there is very little argument that the team is not better off with Luck in there.
