Andrew Luck hit from Danny Trevathan may have caused injury

Andrew Luck is out 2-6 weeks with a lacerated kidney and abdomen tear suffered in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s win over the Denver Broncos.

Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said Luck was injured on a fourth quarter scramble. Video of a hit by Broncos LB Danny Trevathan has been making the rounds, and it is believed to be the hit caused Luck’s injury:

Luck threw a touchdown pass on the next play to make it 24-17.
