Andy Reid throws headset after pass interference call
Andy Reid was upset after a pass interference call negated a Kansas City Chiefs interception in the third quarter of the team’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, and multiple reporters say he threw his headset.
The Steelers had a first-and-goal at the Kansas City 2-yard-line. Ben Roethlisberger’s pass was intercepted in the end zone by Steven Nelson, but replay showed he held onto Antonio Brown’s jersey. He was called for pass interference, wiping out the interception and leaving Reid upset.
Several reporters said that Reid threw his headset in anger.
Andy Reid just threw his headset at the referee after that penalty on Steven Nelson. I've never seen that.

Roethlisberger is picked off by Hitchens while looking for AB in end zone. But a PI call on Hitchens negates it. Andy Reid goes insane on sideline, throws headset. #Steelers #Chiefs

CBS did not appear to show the toss, but they flashed to Reid on the sidelines. The Chiefs coach was trying to sort out his headset in his right hand.
All he probably needed to do was look at Patrick Mahomes’ stat line to mellow out.
