Anthony Davis takes parting shot at Greg Roman
Now that the San Francisco 49ers’ 2014 season can officially be labeled a failure, offensive lineman Anthony Davis feels that airing out some dirty laundry is in order.
On Wednesday, Davis took to Twitter to share a story about the time 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman told him he could easily be replaced.
Greg Roman to me when I was 21: "You know we can get someone off the street to do what you do." #LifeComesAtYouFast

CSNBayArea.com noticed that Davis tweeted “The Irony” shortly after the tweet you see above, but he quickly deleted it.
Davis is one of the better offensive tackles in the game, having made 72 consecutive starts from 2010 to 2013 before having the streak snapped in Week 1 because of a hamstring strain. Roman, who Jim Harbaugh brought to San Francisco with him from Stanford, has fallen under heavy scrutiny this season with the Niners looking pedestrian on offense.
In all likelihood, Roman is going to be fired with Harbaugh next week. Heck, even 49ers GM Trent Baalke’s daughter took a shot at Roman earlier this season. Davis is simply piling on.
