Anthony Davis goes on Twitter rant about 49ers front office
After sitting out the 2015 season due to health concerns, there was speculation Anthony Davis would return prior to the upcoming season. After what he posted to social media on Wednesday, it’s probably safe to assume he will not be playing for the 49ers in 2016.
With the NFL Draft beginning Thursday, Davis offered his two cents on what position San Francisco should address with their first round draft pick. Davis’ suggestion was someone who plays the same position he does.
The 49ers should Draft an Offensive Tackle in the top 10. #NFLDraft2016

Davis went on to blast the Niners front office (and anyone else) who does not want to win as much as he does.
I do not want to work with a front office or anyone else who seemingly doesn't want to win as bad as I do.

Would you happily rent your body out to people that bullshit you and constantly try to manipulate you? I hope you'd stand up for yourself.

I don't like the back and forth messy shit. Don't speak to me in code.

Davis has not yet filed the necessary paperwork with the NFL for his reinstatement. With the Niners selecting seventh overall, they could be fortunate enough to have Mississippi’s Laremy Tunsil and/or Ronnie Stanley from Notre Dame available when they’re on the clock, both of whom are offensive tackles. Trent Brown, a seventh round selection last year, is also an option.
Either way, the Niners will likely have a void to fill because the bridge between Davis and the team is all but burned to ashes at this point.
