49ers running back Anthony Dixon tweets he’s preparing for the ‘She-Hawks’
San Francisco 49ers running back Anthony Dixon decided to fling some trash talk toward the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday. He later deleted it likely after being told that he’s an idiot for providing unnecessary bulletin board material, but we all know nothing is ever erased from the internet.
Dixon wrote on Twitter that he is preparing to face the “She-Hawks” on Sunday. Seattle linebacker KJ Wright caught wind of the tweet and said he would be relaying it to his teammates. Although both players deleted their tweets, the exchange was captured by 95.7 The Game’s John Lund:
Damn I missed football. And to think, we’re only heading into Week 2. Dixon is only a third or fourth string running back, so it probably isn’t wise for him to be talking smack when he may not even touch the field. Then again, he has refused to sell his jersey number to a teammate for a rather large sum of money. Maybe he’s a star in the making.
