Antonio Brown calls Ben Roethlisberger a ‘loser, NFL ‘racist’ in latest rant
Antonio Brown continues to alternate between trying to prove to NFL teams that he is remorseful for his actions and accusing the league of conspiring against him.
Just last week, Brown took to Instagram to acknowledge some of his past mistakes and call his behavior “inexcusable.” He said he takes full responsibility for his actions and is working every day to repair his image. In a Twitter rant on Wednesday, however, he went the other way again. Brown unloaded on the NFL for being “racist” and accused the league’s owners of putting a “hit” out on him that was carried out by the media. He deleted the tweet about the “hit.”

It seems like Brown gets his hopes up that his social media apologies will inspire the NFL to resolve his case and/or a team to sign him. When that doesn’t work, he goes back to unloading on the league for what he perceives as unfair treatment.
For what it’s worth, it seems like there are players and coaches on one team who want to sign Brown. However, the sexual misconduct allegations against him are still being investigated by the NFL, and a suspension could be looming. With only three games remaining in the regular season, it is highly unlikely that Brown will be signed by a team before 2020.
