Antonio Brown may not be done with the Oakland Raiders yet.
The Raiders released Brown after suspending him for conduct detrimental to the team, subsequently voiding the roughly $30 million he was originally guaranteed. This was the trigger for Brown demanding his release, and he may yet try to recoup that money.
According to agent Drew Rosenhaus, the voided money “might be a legal situation,” suggesting that Brown is looking into his options to contest the loss of that money.
On the $30M that was voided, agent Drew Rosenhaus says he’s looking into all his options but isn’t being specific because “it might be a legal situation.” An indication WR Antonio Brown will contest Oakland’s finding.

In other words, this may yet get messier. It was the voided money that set Brown off and led to him demanding his release, which he subsequently received. If there’s any chance he can recoup that money, expect him to take it. He may not even need to think he has a chance — after all, he contested his helmet situation long after it became readily clear that nobody was going to rule in his favor.
