Antonio Brown remains away from the Oakland Raiders as he deals with a cryotherapy-inspired foot problem, and the team apparently doesn’t have a lot of information about what’s going on.
According to Paul Gutierrez of ESPN, Brown has not been in contact with the Raiders since his injury became an issue. On Tuesday, Raiders coach Jon Gruden noted that the team was still gathering information about Brown’s foot situation. Any information apparently is not coming from the player himself.
The poor communication is somewhat of an ominous sign this early in Brown’s Oakland tenure. The injury alone is frustrating and the result of a preventable situation, but it doesn’t sound as though the two sides are completely on the same page right now.
The Raiders aren’t sure when Brown will be able to practice, but that may come down to a lack of information more than anything else.
