John Fox: Bears do not have a plan for when Jay Cutler is healthy
Chicago Bears coach John Fox was mum on his plans for Jay Cutler once his erstwhile starting quarterback is healthy again.
Fox tried to calm some of the speculation surrounding the inevitable quarterback controversy between Cutler and Brian Hoyer before admitting that the team hasn’t really come up with a plan yet.
Reporter to John Fox: Will Hoyer be considered when Cutler returns?
Fox: “I am not going to get into speculation. Jay is not healthy.”

Fox obviously doesn’t want this to be a story. The fact is, though, there are rumblings that the staff simply doesn’t think much of Cutler, and the job is Hoyer’s to keep as long as he performs competently.
