Bears fans break out notable chant about Justin Fields during game
Justin Fields is still apparently the people’s champion in Chicago.
The Bears quarterback Fields had a strong game on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. He threw for 268 yards and a touchdown plus added 45 yards and another touchdown on the ground as Chicago won easily 37-17.
Fans at Soldier Field showed their appreciation for Fields by busting out a notable chant after an unbelievable Fields scramble for a first down in the third quarter. They began chanting, “We want Fields!”

The third-year QB Fields was playing what many believe could be his final game at Soldier Field. Chicago officially clinched 2024’s No. 1 overall draft pick on Sunday (thanks to a loss by the league-worst Carolina Panthers, whom the Bears made last year’s Bryce Young trade with). The Bears are widely expected to select former USC Heisman winner Caleb Williams to replace Fields as their starting quarterback.
Fields has been inconsistent at best during his run as QB1 for Chicago. But Fields is at least giving the team something to think about right now after leading the Bears to their fourth win in the last five games. A recent report suggested that the Bears may have more faith in Fields’ long-term outlook than previously believed, and there are some other elite options at No. 1 (like Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.) if they decide to stick with Fields.
