Ben Johnson seemed annoyed with his halftime interview

Ben Johnson was not the most gracious interviewee on Sunday as his Chicago Bears took on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4.

Johnson spoke to CBS sideline reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala as the Bears trailed the Raiders 14-9 to start the second half at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nev. Kinkhabwala asked Johnson a couple of questions, with the second one in particular seemingly getting on the rookie head coach’s nerves.

“Do you need to change what you’re doing?” Kinkhabwala asked after pointing out the Bears’ failure to capitalize on a couple of first-half interceptions.

“I don’t know. Do you think so? We’re going to be just fine,” Johnson said while giving Kinkhabwala a menacing stare before CBS cut back to game action.

Bears safety Kevin Byard picked off Raiders quarterback Geno Smith on nearly identical plays in the first half. Despite the twin interceptions placing Chicago right outside the red zone, the Bears settled for field goals on both occasions.

Fittingly enough, the Bears picked Smith off again to open the second half. The third time was indeed the charm as Chicago scored a go-ahead TD on the ensuing drive. Johnson’s team held on for a miraculous 25-24 victory thanks to a blocked field goal attempt in the final minute of action.

Johnson has not exactly been friendly with reporters so far in his stint as the Bears’ head coach. He had a rather testy press conference exchange with a Detroit Lions reporter after the Bears lost to the Lions in Week 2.
