BenJarvus Green-Ellis clowned for putting hand on owner Mike Brown’s knee
In the most recent episode of HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” Cincinnati Bengals running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis received some special treatment from team owner Mike Brown.
Brown wheeled the Lawfirm into practice on his golf cart, leading Green-Ellis to place his hand upon the owner’s knee as a gesture of endearment.
Head coach Marvin Lewis instantly began teasing Lawfirm about his personal escort, and he asked some of the other players if they had ever received a ride from the owner. The teasing continued when the team met for some film study.
Lewis began giving his players a shpiel about character and being teammates.
“I want to show you a little thing … talking about guys being great teammates and just role models … people to look up to,” Lewis began.
Then, he flipped on the projector to show video of BGE’s private ride, and they zoomed in on the knee touch:
As you could imagine, the sweet exchange between BGE and Brown led to many laughs among the Bengals players:
Really, they just wish they were that tight with Brown, too.
