Bernard Pierce reportedly suspended first two games of season

Free agent Bernard Pierce may find things a little tougher to catch on with a team to start the season this year.

Pierce has been suspended the first two games for the 2016 season, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.

Pierce was arrested for DUI last March and was cut by the Ravens. The Jags picked him up and he carried the ball six times for 11 yards last season before being placed on IR.

Pierce turns 25 next week and was a former third-round pick by the Ravens. He has not been very productive during his career, but we expect him to be in the mix for teams looking to pick running backs up off the street during the season.
