Bill Belichick furious after neutral zone infraction, upset with Ravens long snapper?
Bill Belichick was furious on the New England Patriots’ sideline after a neutral zone infraction gave the Baltimore Ravens a first down in the red zone on Sunday night, ultimately costing the team four points due to a touchdown instead of a field goal on the opening drive.
Belichick could be seen cursing on the sideline, even saying f—ing a–hole.
While many thought Belichick was upset with Shilique Calhoun for being called for the infraction — and he very well could have been — it seemed more like the Patriots head coach was upset with a trick used by the Ravens long snapper.
Ravens long snapper Morgan Cox had the ball set and was looking down. Then he looked up, which resulted in many Patriots players moving.

Calhoun was called for the infraction, but Belichick must have thought a false start on Cox should have been called.
Thanks to the penalty, Baltimore got a first-and-goal, which they converted for a touchdown on a great fake and run by Lamar Jackson. It seemed like a sneaky move by Cox that paid off.
