Bill Belichick wrote letter to Donald Trump supporting him
Donald Trump spent some time campaigning on Monday in New Hampshire, which has suddenly become an important swing state in this year’s presidential election. The Republican tried to give himself a boost in The Granite State by saying both Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have endorsed him, but was he being truthful?
One of the claims Trump made was that Belichick wrote him a personal letter. Tom E. Curran of CSSNE.com has confirmed that Belichick did, in fact, send Trump a letter, though the contents of the note are unknown.
Trump read on stage what he claimed was the letter from Belichick, and you can read some of what it supposedly said here. One report claims the letter Trump read was completely accurate.
Bill Belichick did indeed write Donald Trump a letter. The letter Trump read from Belichick is accurate. Those were Bill's words. #WBZ

As for Brady, Trump says the four-time Super Bowl champion called him personally to inform him that he voted for the Republican candidate. Trump told folks in New Hampshire that Brady gave him permission to pass that information along, but Brady’s wife Gisele denied in an Instagram comment that she and her husband are backing Trump.

Brady supported Trump in the past and called him a “good friend,” but he has since softened that stance for obvious reasons. Perhaps Brady feels he should be kind to Trump given the way Trump bashed Roger Goodell on the quarterback’s behalf.
