Bills consider LeSean McCoy day-to-day with rib injury
LeSean McCoy is dealing with what sounds like a painful injury that he suffered in Sunday’s loss against the Los Angeles Chargers, but it remains unclear if he will miss time going forward.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that McCoy is dealing with cracked rib cartilage, which is an injury he has had in the past. He’s considered questionable for Buffalo’s Week 3 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings, and Bills coach Sean McDermott termed McCoy “day-to-day” on Monday.

The Bills have been horrendous through the first two weeks of the season, and the last thing they need is to be without their best offensive player for any amount of time. They already lost one veteran in Week 2 when cornerback Vontae Davis literally retired in the middle of the game.
Like most of his teammates, McCoy is off to a slow start in 2018. He has 61 total rushing yards on 16 attempts and has not found the end zone. It initially seemed like the Bills would have to worry about him getting into legal trouble, but now his health is the biggest concern.
